Zinnia
THE flower of summer. Zinnias are prolific throughout the season. A cut-and-come-again bloom that thrives with ease in Oklahoma’s summer heat. Many varieties are too garish and bright for my taste, but I’ve fallen in love with Oklahoma White, which models a soft shade of green reminiscent of a cool cucumber—the perfect color on a hot summer day.
